Doctor Who - The Armageddon Convention

Today, it was (finally) time for the second part of the first two-parter of out ongoing Doctor Who Campaign: "The Armageddon Convention" featured our heroins Abigail and Jordan in Venice of 1609 during the preparations for the same called event. They drank booze in a run-down tavern with Galileo Galilei, got arrested under suspicion of being Turkish spies, tracked the bad guys to an empty palazzo at the Canale Grande, made off with an alien ambassador (that looked suspiciously like an overgrown crab with wings), freed another alien ambassador (this one looking suspiciously like a manta with legs) from captivity, nearly drowned under an island, and made friends with Irving Braxiatel.

They also met a rather headstrong young woman, who refused to tell them her name on the account that "it's July 2010", but still gave them the hint to "go and find Sir Alistair, if you want to know about the time rings."

Which will lead us straight into the next episode "Swafham Prior". It'll be a while before we get round to playing that, as I am going to game master at the OST 20 (a local games convention) and won't have much time to do anything beyond that.

Oh yeah, that episode rocked hard :D You forgot to tell that we actually came up with a name for the show, ...um, I mean the RPG, of course - (I still think this would seriously kick ass as a real TV show, but maybe that's just me). Since we always call UNIT in the end of each episode, asking them to send some guys to clean up the mess we left behind and in the course of that mention our code word "Alcione", it would be fun to use that as a name for the show. Sounds pretty cool, at least to my ears.

Well, I'm looking forward to playing again - better sooner than later ;-)

"Alcyone" itself sounds a bit short to my ears. Perhaps we could extend it to "Code: Alcyone" or something like that. What du you think?

Oopsie... seems I got a serious case of misspelling here *blush*. Right, so it's Alcyone with a "y". I like your suggestion, though. Sounds like a good title to me ;)
