Today we played another game of Doctor Who. "Cirano's Curiosities", episode three of our ongoing campaign, featured our heroes (Abigail and Jordan) on a well deserved vacation to Florence that (of course) went awry. They crossed path with Cirano - an insane collector from the 27th century - out to collect "real twentieth century humans"...
Now, he got away from them, in his time machine, on the way to "collect" the genius Galileo Galilei in Venice 1600 - and of course, our two heroins followed suit... Cirano did use their time ring to get the temporal coordinates after all...
We're all looking forward to episode four now (to be played in a fortnight), which will feature our two heroins in Renaissance Venice, trying to keep the unknowing Galilei from being collected by a madman from the future, and thereby inadvertently crossing paths with another collector - one who has been working for more than twenty years on a dream: "The Armageddon Convention".

This was actually an extremely enjoyable episode with lots of cool action - just think of the motor scooter we confiscated for the car chase, and that we returned to its owner afterwards (we're the good guys, after all). Or the scam we pulled on the car rental to get the address of the collector :-) I'm definitely looking forward to the next session!!!
I'm still thinking about a good name for our RPG though. What about ACS - another crazy spinoff?
